I noticed a Free DNC program download on the main page for CNCzone called CNCnet DNC

Has anybody used CNCnet DNC at http://www.wieland.us/cnc-erp/en/ind...artikel=678806 I wonder if it would be better than Hyperterminal that I use currently? Also does the program work ect...

I use the free DNC program from OneCNC. It is an easy to setup and easy to use windows based program. They have a a short advertisment that runs when you start the program which i don't mind because i am seldom at the DNC machine while it is loading.

www.onecnc.com go to the download section and you will find it there.

    CNCnet DNC

CNCnet DNC is a free professional DNC solution.
Just download and read the setup and operators manual to find out if it fits to your needs:

You can use ONECNC for modern types of CNC's. With older machines that use different handshake methods for send / receive or require specific HEX Codes to be sent as leading / trailing sequence you should use CNCnet DNC.

I have a Yasnac 3000G, 1985 vintage. Would you suggest using the ONECNC or the CNnet DNC for communication with PC running Mastercam X4?
