    That site still blows my mind. We have this beast... and we have George Luhrs producing 5-cylinder radial engines not much bigger than a silver dollar...

    That diesel engine is mind boggling, at the other end of the spectrum, so is Luhrs scratch designed and built, 1/8" bore 5/32 stroke, overhead valve, spark plug ignition single cylinder engine.

    All one can do is shake their head in amazement in respect to both accomplishments.

    Engine blocks are normally cast but I just can't imagine the size of the furnace/mold/etc. for casting that baby.

    Great examples of what can be achieved when people have something on there mind. Both are unbeleivable. And some of us still have problems drilling round holes.
