Hello all!

I am new here and would like to ask if any of you have been able to attach a digital read out to a 9x20 19xx South Bend lathe? :idea:
If so, any info on where to purchase the needed read outs. I have searched and not found anything that looked compatible or workable with a little machining.

Unfortunately I haven't seen any "bolt-on" type setups for the SB9.

Here was my solution and yes, you will have to come up with a few ways to mount them but they work really well, just a little "slow" on the display. I will end up getting a separate digital readout for these scales that can be found here:

I actually bought these scale a SHARS.com about a year ago and the batteries last as I've only changed the battery on the tailstock.. and that was because I left it on.

The lathe is regularly used about 3 days a week for about 3-4 hours give or take.
