New computer does not see dongle

The motherboard went out on my old computer so I bought a new computer with more memory and quad core AMD with 64 bit XP, and it does'nt see my dongle on the parallel port.Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.

First off, I hope you installed the new operating system without the dongle plugged in as there may be some risk of damage to the dongle.

And I am not at all sure whether OneCNC is designed to work on a 64 bit OS. Maybe it does, but it might require more than the typical driver installation. I'd recommend you phone in to talk to tech support and see what they say.
First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.

(Note: The opinions expressed in this post are my own and are not necessarily those of CNCzone and its management)
