    CNC Programmer/Machinist In Seattle/Tacoma Area

I am an experienced cnc programmer, machinist and set-up person. I have spent the last thirteen years working for a machine shop specializing in wind tunnel models, programming and machining complex parts and shapes. Along with wind tunnel and hydro tank models, we designed and machined many different types of compression molds for various companies in the watersports industry. I have experience machining a wide range of materials, from 1.25lb. Styrofoam all the way to High Speed Steel. Resume, pictures and references provided at request.

I won't lie. My swiss experience is limited to a passing knowledge of how they work and watching cuts through the window. I have not yet programmed a swiss style lathe for money. How much learning curve (time-wise) are you willing to put up with? I don't think it's fair to charge for incompetence, so in an instance like this it would probably be more fair to charge a set rate and if it takes me ten times too long to create usable code, that's my problem, not yours.

    Sincerely,

    Charlie Gary

I wish I could say yes, but I don't. I am envisioning a mill/turn center with main and sub-spindles, two turrets and live tooling, though. Did I guess correctly?

    Sincerely,
