    Base table out off square

Hi, I have a problem with my base table being out of square by .563 inches, what I was thinking to solve this problem was cutting two opposite corners and my question is should I cut on the inside or outside corners of the of the longest diagonal and weld it back up. In the drawing the slant is exaggerated for it to be clearer.
    Thank you

Just MHO, but no matter what you do, it will never be perfect, so the real question is - how close is good enough?

I don't know how firmly your table is welded up now, but perhaps you can get it within an acceptable range by sort of pulling it into shape. If you put some aircraft or similar steel wire diagonal into the table (same location as the dimension arrows of your drawing) with a strong turnbuckle, it might be possible to stress it "close enough".

Be careful with cable wire though - if it breaks, it will do serious damage. I suppose a long piece of threaded rod could be used similarly.
