    Question Question

    Hello all.

I have been a member for years, just never had a reason to post anything. Until now.
A friend is giving me a mill. It isn't CNC. Just a manual mill. With a powered X feed. It's a 1985 JET Model #JVM-830-1. It looks to be 90% complete. It does need a motor and a good cleaning. All the axis move as they should and I don't see any major damage to the bed. I don't plan on using it for a business. Just a toy to mess with now and then.
I am also trying to find a manual for it with no luck.

Is it worth my effort? How hard is it to find parts if needed?

    Thanks, Andrew
