Folks I have a damaged colombo spindle - in a fire. I need help to identify something that has melt within the T box of the spindle.

I am not sure what that would be if the spindle is a 3 phase motor, a capacitor is not normally required, can you post the details off the name plate?
Also, what can you discern from the melted component?

al, that looked like a cap - but I am not sure - it was mostly melt plastic - i think its a RV9 model (2.2kw)or something, I have given the spindle for top end bearing replacement. I will get a picture of the name plate once it is back.
