Hello all
Has anyone of you out there had experience using okuma millturns to do 5 axis simultanous machining.
I know the Mori and DMG machines are capable of this I was wondering if the Okuma Macturn or Multus machines are 5 axis capable?

The Okuma Multus and Macturn can be 5 axis capable but they need to be ordered with that plan in mind. The B axis needs to be contouring capable instead of indexing which is standard. This requires a different B axis mechanism. More$ when you order one and you are good to go.
Best regards,
Experience is what you get just after you needed it.
