    G540 setup question.

I am new to this fascinating world of CNC. I am slowly working at bring another X2 mill into the world of CNC and I have a question on the current set resistor size for a G540 drive. I am using a Keling motor # KL23H2100-35-4B which is rated at 3.5 amp. PEr the documentation I see that the resistor is sized by using 1K ohm per amp of motor rating. I can't find 3.5 k resistors locally. I do have 3.3k resistors in my surplus parts drawers. Is it a wise decision to install these resistors that I have and run a little on the conservative side or should I continue to look for 3.5k? Also what would I loose performance wise by using the 3.3k resistors?

    Thanks in advance.

3.3/3.5 = 94.2% of the torque you'd have at 3.5 amps, so you lose about 5%.

I couldn't find 3.5K either, so I just used two resistors that totaled 3.5K ...
