Here is the address to the MPC6515 manual from the manufacturer. Maybe the answer is there?

If you are using LaserCut then look for a program in the same folder called MPC05Ver+MO5.exe (or similar)
With Laser switched on, run this exe and it will tell you the version of the DLL and the version of the Firmware in the laser.
Of course, the computer needs to be connected to the laser via the USB cable when you do this!

Thanks Bob. I had never ran that file before and it was named just as you said. I've never had any error messages either though.
Just so spotbox has an error free machine to compare his to, this is what running that file showed me. My machine is 2 years old so the versions may be different now.
Spotbox, let us know what running the file shows you.
Thanks,

I have the same versions as you Skip..
While you're in that folder, you may like to have a look at the 'language.ini' file where you can correct a few spelling mistakes, and add your own (or company) info.
Item# should be
7097 Rotate
177 [Your name]
178 [Your phone]
179 [Your website]
61462 Engraved polyline must be closed
etc etc.
I think there are at least two "Rotal's" which should be Rotate, while 7040 mentions a knife, that may actually be 'laser' - dunno if it's used though. Several sections look like they are repeated, so the file probably needs a good cleanup - but maybe it's better to leave well alone as far as that goes! I only changed the ones that were annoying me :devious:
Not sure what an 'Auto jude director is' but that's in there...
Have a good look through that file, and you will probably find several Chinglish words that could be changed (make a backup copy first, of course) :stickpoke
'Conner power' should be corner power.

Thanks Bob, I'll check that out. The only change I have made (so far) was to the start up graphic. Mine now says "Software X" in generic black text with a white background when it starts.
I actually think my LaserCut 5.0 is pretty good software. It has many of the features that I see owners of some US machines wishing they had. I would like to upgrade to a newer version sometime though just for the ability to arc into and out of a cut. I think that would be a handy feature because depending on the material I'm cutting, I occasionally get a slight mark where the cut stops.
