    Bernardo Profi 550 Lathe

I've been busy for a while with my bench lathe to convert it to cnc.
and now it's time to share it on cnczone.

The machine is from 2006, i bought it new.

    What to change?

    - Toolholder
    - Converting to leadscrews
    - VFD on main spindle
    - Mach3 Interface
    - PLC Connection
    - Steppers or servo motors.

    First of all some pictures.

The machine for the idea...(allready some bits taken off

    Disasembled the current tool holder

    The new Multifix toolholder idea

Manufactured a Spacer block from Steel 37 material, with pins

Mounted spacer aligned on the X and Z side for drilling in the tapered pins

Mounted holder for measuring some clamping parts.

    Very soon a update...
Allready replaced the Z-axis leadscrew... later on some pictures.

feel free to let me know what you think about it....
