    Probably the wrong place.

    Hi to all,
anyone have plans for the jgro router in metric units.

plus the leadscrew of the Y axis is in metric longer than 1m so it's a bitty difficult to have one in this length.
Plus the hardware in imperial units it,s not common in European hardare store, i think 5/16 is almost 8mm, so the 608zz bearings will accomodate well (in metric units the 608 bearings are 22x8 mm with a thickness of 7mm).
The only thing that is sold is the pipe.

So it's a nice work to redesign the JGRO to make it easier to build in Europe.
I'm trying to contact JGRO to know how he thinks about this matter.

I can, in my spare time, to formalize some CAD drawing in metric unit with a slightly modified dimension to fit European hardware, (the idea is to make only the detailed viewings and not the general plan).

I've heard that someone improved the JGRO design, some photos show a lettle different approach on some parts, support for rails and so on.

If JGRO will permit to use his general plans it will be an help to us poor metric people.

    Comments wil be greatly appreciated

Sorry for my bad english and

    Best Regards to all
