    Johnford lathe

We have a Johnford lathe with a fanuc oi-tb controller. the controller starts okay the gives a 1107 turret servo alarm. What should i be looking for?

You should be looking for your

MTB Manual with alarm descriptions ......

A turret servo alarm is not a Fanuc alarm

    Cool re. Johnford

I realize that it's not a fanuc problem. there is not a mitsu turret board on this site, and I can't figure out what these people did with the manual.
Just throwing spaghetti on the wall. Thanks Monkey

OK A few more details wouldn't go amiss !!

    I.E.

    Machine Manufacturer + Model
    Control Manufacturer + Model
Relevant Servo Amplifier and Motor Models

And a description of what is happening/not happening

With this info we can start to help

If it is a Mitsubishi Control I suggest you post this info in this forum

    Re: Johnford lathe

I just got this error fixed on my Johnford SL-300 after crashing the turret. I followed these instructions from my manual, and it worked.

We have found that this alarm can not be cleared until changing the 3.6v lithium battery located on the turret drive in the main cabinet out back. We do this battery change while the machine is powered up. After the battery is replaced we go through the turret resetting routine found in the machines manual.
