    Fanuc motor ???

Well I have been stuck on this project for about a month now. No one in the world seems to know the specs on the motors my machine has. I don't know why, because I can find them listed all over the net for sale or to repair them. The main problem is that there is no part number on them that starts with an A0. Here is all the information off the motor plates. If anyone knows voltage and current specs let me know. I have everything except power supply and drivers for the retrofit. I can't do anything more till I figure out some specs on these motors. I tried powering it up with a home made 3 phase converter today, but I can't get the control to do anything. It is like it is stuck in an E-stop condition. The controller lost all its parameters due to a dead memory battery as well. I can't get it it to accept them though because the ready light will not come on.

    Thanks

Here is a Fanuc 5M on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...500128195&rd=1
It shows 151vdc at 9 amps also shows the torque.

Mine looks a little different than that. It doesn't have a yellow cap and the motor plate looks differnt. Mine just have a 5 or a O and no M. Where that one says 2000H mine says 2000M. I did find the part numbers finally even though they aren't on the motors.
A06B-0614-B031 for the x and y motors (have 5 on them)
A06B-0613-B031 for the Z axis (has 0 on it)

Maybe I can get some specs now that I have a part number. That 5M does look about the same size and maybe these are very similiar to that one, but I goot know without a doubt before I spend money on drivers.

I got a bunch of new information on these motors. Here it is:
    Servo Motors
    Fujitsu Fanuc LTD
Fanuc DC Motor 0 (z axis)
    Type: 0-2000M
    NO: D-771719
    Date: 77 10
    Permanent Magnet DC Servo Motor
    Part Number A06B-0613-B031
Output Power: 0.4 KW (0.5 HP)
    Rated Torque: 28 Kg-Cm
    Max. Torque: 240 Kg-Cm
    Max. Speed: 2000 Rpm
    Rotor Inertia: 0.029 Kg-Cm-S 3
Back EMF Constant: 25 V/K RPM
    Torque Constant: 2.44 Kg-Cm/Amp
    Mechanical Time Constant: 25 mSec
    Thermal Time Constant: 50 Min
    Weight: 12 Kg

    Fujitsu Fanuc LTD
Fanuc DC Motor 5 (x,y axis)
    Type: 0-2000M
    NO: D-771719
    Date: 77 10
    Permanent Magnet DC Servo Motor
    Part Number A06B-0614-B031
Output Power: 0.8 KW (1 HP)
    Rated Torque: 55 Kg-Cm
    Max. Torque: 480 Kg-Cm
    Max. Speed: 2000 Rpm
    Rotor Inertia: 0.05 Kg-Cm-S 3
Back EMF Constant: 50 V/K RPM
    Torque Constant: 4.87 Kg-Cm/Amp
    Mechanical Time Constant: 15 mSec
    Thermal Time Constant: 55 Min
    Weight: 16 Kg

Now, how do I caclulate what Voltage I should run to the drives for these and how would I calculate the max current rating needed??
