Can you tell me how to force X/Y/D signal of PMC (FANUC 0i-TC system ) ?

I press PMC - PMCDGN -state, and select the signal, then press On or off, but don't ge the result .

Can you tell me why ?

I belive that you can use the Fanuc Ladder III software connected to your machine and change the ladder states/signals "online" with the machine.
I never did it, so I can be mistaken !
