    Question Timing Pulley Needed

    Hi all,
I have an old Nardini CNC Lathe and the Z Axis Servo Pulley is worn out to the extent that it is starting to eat Belts.
Can someone point me in rite direction. I have some Catalogs but thus far have been unable to find anything that would work for me.
    Thanks!
All comments made are my opinion!

I'd say it would be pretty difficult to find the exact match for your belt. The quickest and easiest option would be to buy the belt and pulley together from one manufacturer and be done with it. Have a look at www.brecoflex.com www.sdp-pi.com www.optibelt.com but I'm sure there are many others.

The reason I'm saying that is that I have here two T5 belts and one pulley. Laying flat they are pretty much identical to the naked eye. But different thickness means only one of these two belts will fit the 20-tooth T5 pulley I have - as you bent the thicker one the minimum radius grows, tooth spacing becomes different, etc etc. Moral of this story is - buy belts and pulleys from one manufacturer.
