Mori Seiki TL-40 with Fanuc 10T. I am getting a "PC 010 PC ERROR" alarm during power up most of the time. Fanuc says I need a new memory cassette which costs about $3500. Is there a less expensive way to correct this? The last line displayed during the start sequence before the alarm is "Loading PC Parameters: End"

If this is the PMC cassette, Fanuc usually load the PMC in from the Eproms in the cassette and then run the ladder from ram memory.
I have picked up a cassette off ebay for $16.00, but you need to transfer your eproms over, if it is the eproms themselves then you are out of luck and would need to obtain a fresh copy of the ladder in eprom.
