New to Astra EDM 50, need help!

    Hi everyone,
I am a newbie to EDM machine and have zero background about it.
I just did several run using cooper-tungsten electrode to drill a hole on a inconel piece with 3/4" thick. I followed the operating procedure on the manual book and the results came out not quite right. If anyone familiar with Elox Astra 50 please give me some advice. Thanking you in advance for your help!

Advice? My first advice: Give a clear question. Oversize, ugly, not straight? What does "not quite right" mean?

    A little more detail please.

    What size hole?

    Were you using a roto-spindle and a flush-chuck?

    Examples:

    edmzap.com: Harig

    Were you using a single-hole or a multi-channel tube?

    Standard or reverse (draw) flush?

    What were your power settings?

What, exactly, do you mean by "not quite right"?

Answers to these questions will help us help you.
