    Max 3 Dallas Ram Key

We have a lot of Hurco's in our shop all Max 2's and Max 3's. We are starting to have a rash of hard drive failures on the Max 3's and are having problems finding older drives to replace them with. I am also worried that the software keys (the one in the printer port) will go out. I have heard that they have a limited life. Is there anyway to copy and duplicate these keys? We are doing everything we can to keep these machines going. Thanks

Why don't you just use laptop drives? All I fit to old MAX3 controls are 2.5" hard drives. Are you loading these yourself? If the old Dallas dongles fail, you can have a Peak715 cpu fitted and the software upped to 2.36 (dongle-less).
