Hi guys I'm wondering if someone could help me solve a problem I'm having. I hadn't been using my mill for almost 1 year as I was busy working on a big project I had all summer. In January I had my PC mother board die out on me. I tried to buy the same board to replace but I couldn't find one and opted for a newer version from the same brand and sent my dead motherboard in for warranty. I also bought a new hard drive at the same time. I just installed the latest lock down of Mach and put in my old XML file. A guy that helped me wire the machine told me that the C11 rev.3 (cnc4 pc) board I had in my machine was known to have an accuracy issue, and that I should change around 11 resistors or so on the board. I was needing another board for another project anyway so I ordered the newer board which at the time (earlier this year) was ver 5. I wired it in the machine and everything is working ok when I jog slow, but when I try to hold the shift key and arrow Direction key it rapids, but if I hold it for over 2 seconds the axis keeps going and takes off and I lose control of it. If I use the Mach MPG to jog the machine with the mouse I can as long as I don't choose 100% If I go 100% it will take off then too. I thought it might have been my keyboard at 1st but now I realize it has to be something else. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Dan
