    7075 Aluminum

Does anyone know where I can purchase 7075 aluminum barstock?
I build small, quick turn injection molds and I often use 7075 aluminum, but I'm unhappy with my current supplier.
This material is pricey, and difficult to find, but I would to get pricing from two or three suppliers.

I bought most of my 7075 aluminum from Future Alloys in California. They get remnants from the aircraft industry. Phone # (818)701-1144, and I was told to ask for Amy, but that was a while ago. Tell them what general size you are looking for and they can send you a list of the peices they have of that size. This way you avoid cut charges. Be careful of the shipping cost though, sometimes the aluminum gets classified a certain way and the costs are outrageous. I had one shipment cost me more to ship than I paid for the aluminum, I swore I would never buy from them again, but after a while I cooled off and realize that it wasn't their fault. They are good to deal with and the prices were great. I think you get a real good rpice discount for buying a larger quantity too.

I personally use "Bralco" in california but they are a big outfitt so them may have branches outside of Cali.
