    Mach 3 errors

I posted this in the wrong place a minute ago.....

I trying to get a handle on a nesting program. When I run the post in Mach3 it gives me an error - (radius to end of arc differs from radius to startline 31) I understand - radius / arc, but what or where is "startline 31"? There isn't a 31 line number in the post...

Can someone give me a hint so I'll have a direction to investigate? Thanks for the reply. Aj

It's actually, "radius to end of arc differs from radius to start - line 31", referring to the 31st line of the g-code.

This is usually due to the IJ setting being incorrect, usually set to absolute instead if incremental. Change it in General Config and see if it works.

If I understand correctly, it's not the line numbered 31, but the actual line count from the start.... Thanks.... I'm going to do some investigating on absolute / incremental.

Yes, the 31st line from the start. Has nothing to do with the actual line numbers, unless you use:

    N1
    N2
    N3 .......

In which case, N31 would be the 31st line from the start.

Not only was the IJ setting wrong in the nesting program, they were wrong in Mach3. "IJ mode" under "general config" was set to absolute instead of incremental.

The simplest things are the hardest...
