I have just purcased a 1988 Fanuc tape cut edm when we try and run a program we get a 048 need reference return error. I need to know how to set the reference return. Can anyone help?

Press the referance return button hold either x,y,u,or v axis jog button table will move in the positive dirrection rapidly . when machine reaches the dec switch table will slow down and light that axis switch... repeat the process for all axis....or you can go througt mdi command ...
