I hate to troll your thread, but how about people who purchased a PCNC Automation router? I purchased one in Sep 09, they just decided to keep my money without sending me a damn thing.

I purchased with PayPal and filed a dispute yesterday. It was closed because of the 45-day issue, but maybe with a few more people filing for the exact same reason, they'll think about extending the deadline.

    My dispute ID is: #PP-869-402-558

I got a response from Bishop Wisecarver with a catalog of the rail system. The center wheel is indeed adjustable, but it appears they will have to come off the Z axis in order to get at them. They are preset at the factory, but when you look down through mine, there is space at the top and bottom. I'm inquiring about the steel replacements which are designed for a medium to high load too.

Proud owner of a PCNC machine that has never worked right

Thought I'd sign on to this, Serial R1001

    Still No Bill ??

I am trying to figure out how to but leadscrews on the X and Y on the PCNC

Does anyone have any suggestions how to take what Bill has delivered and make it work?

I know he sets up the board to run hot and fast, which is the enemy of accuracy.

I also thought about putting a real rack and pinion, not the soft..

I feel really bad for the 2 people on this forum, who got there money stolen..

You could probably put a rack on more easily than remanufacture it for lead screws. Do you have the metal L brackets holding the belt at each end of each axis? If no, then the first thing I would do is get a piece of angle iron and make them. They have a hole that mounts into the 80-20 slot and a sawn slot that holds the belt end after wrapping it around on itself.

Here's the current list.. Did anyone purchase from Ebay? I contacted the two people who gave pcnc negative ratings, but not sure if that's any of us.

Also, is this any of you? http://dcguitardesigns.wordpress.com/
They claim to have purchased a pcnc router in late 09.. just wondering if they got it.
Also, this person (you'll have to search this page for 'pcncautomation') claims to have purchased around Oct 09:

I was thinking the same thing. Especially since he's still answering Emails/presales as if there's no problem.

    Hey Marty,
Read your posts on the tele forum Good read about your hobby and looks like you had some good times with your home build CnC. So far how you liking your PCnC router? wish you never brought it or you satisfied? Me, I like mine just okay, should of had saved up a bit more and bought a shopbot buddy, but too late now so I am trying to improve it the most I can. Call it a loss but a good tinkering toy now. My wife is from Buffalo NY and I spend the 60's in Buffalo and have lots of friends living in western NY. Now I live in the Suburbs of Milwaukee WI. Good knowing you and guess we both are Lucky to get our machine one after another? What is the serial # on yours? Just CURIOUS! As yours should be #17 as mine is #16 and I saw yours being build. if yours is not in sequence with mine, that means mine was a used machine...
It is a shame what is happening to PCnC and it's customers.. I feel for them and wish I could help more! When my wife meet Bill, she never liked him and didn't want me to buy from him, but it was too late as I already paid him in full, she always refered him as a con man.. I thought that was funny till after what happened to me and all the rest of Bill's customers.
