Having Problems with my haas VF8

Is this the alarm you are getting?

Alarm 971 FAILED TO LOAD
The on board device computer failed to load network drivers. This is
from an invalid network setting. Cycle power. CNC should go into DRIVERS
NOT LOADED mode, change network settings and try again. If you continuously
get FAILED TO LOAD alarms without DRIVERS NOT LOADED mode, notify your
dealer. Note: The default network settings can be restored if needed.
Press PRGRM CONVERS during power up, then Press P ENTER, then P5 ENTER.

If it is then it is an ethernet alarm.
Do you have ethernet?
Has ethernet worked before?

I do not have ethernet on the machine.

What software version do you have?
The software version can be found on the screen when you first turn the machine on.

Could you confirm, is that
14.21
or 14.02?
14.021 isn't a correct software version

My mistake, 14.02. It reads 14.02I

Check parameter 57
about half way down left side
should read 'network/usb' or something like
is this a 1 or a 0
should be 0

Can't find it anywhere is parameter 57 menu. Could it be the "unused" option?

It's the one about six down from top that actually says unused or reserved on yours.
Your problem is a software fault.
You need an upgrade to at least 14.03b
Only your HFO can do this.
