Any usable Les Paul 3d files?

Hi. Just seeing if anyone has any good Les Paul .stl or other 3d files. I would really like a neck file. I would also like a strat or a tele neck. I just built my machine and I am anxious to build a guitar. I know you've worked hard on these so I will gladly pay if necessary. Thanks mmcguire

I built a Les Paul using the 3D Les Paul file at fabitrabbit.com. The download includes a bunch of different formats. Ya gotta pay though, but it's pretty cheap if I recall.

I know this thread is old but the info is good for others.

fabitrabbit.com lp design & neck tenon

Did you change the neck tenon or build it like it is on fabitrabbit.com (with the angle on the neck rather than the body? Is there any disadvantage to doing the angle on the neck and making the body route flat?

I don't know if there's any disadvantage, but the originals were done with the angle on the neck pocket. That's how I modeled mine.

Hi there, my name is Kevin and I live in the UK.
I've been looking for Les Paul 3D Files in OBJ or STL format. I don't know how this forum works, do you provide the file free of charge? If so, how is the file downloaded? If you charge how much is it? I am about to retire in 7 weeks time and I have a small CNC router machine which is just large enough to make a guitar. I'm really looking forward to having a go at making my own. I have played guitar for many years but never tried building one. Any information will be welcomed. Best regards.

The files are in this forum - you just have to find them! They are however in IGS and STEP. Which you would want anyway, as it would be useless to try and create toolpaths for this model with STL.

The original LPs were done with an angled neck pocket, so it is in keeping with the original (which many LP guys are fanatical about.)

Here is a portion of the print, shows pickup pocket angle also
And fixture with tooling balls to locate the 4 deg.
    Been doing this too long

Also the four recesses for the volume and tone pots are angled as well to match the contour of the body...

Louis, Client made that a point also to be 100% correct to the print. so it is modeled and made
They want perfection? no problem, these are really suited for a modest 5axis machine Too many set-ups now.
Some repro guys do these all 3axis Attachment 376528

I have been looking for days. I cannot find them. Why won't anyone just point them out to all of us looking for them?

I cheated and made my neck pad (where the neck meets the body) angled. Much easier to do that with a 3D surface cut then it was to make an angled jig for the body at the time.

I’m even newer than you as I just joined today. Were you ever able to find any usable files? If so, are you willing to share.
