I am helping out a friend bringing up PRECIX 3000 and PRECIX 9100 bought
year 96. The controller of the PRECIX 9100 got damaged and we cant even
control the CNC using the keypad. So, I replaced the Controller board of PRECIX 9100 with the PRECIX 3000. So, now we can use the PRECIX 9100

We have contacted PRECIX and informed us that this board is obsolete and they dont supply this anymore. So, if there is anyone there who has a spare or who has done upgrades and kept the controller board. We would like to purchase it.

This company is run by a member who posts here I saw a
new PC based conversion controller on his site.

I'm sure it's worth a look, it's call for pricing though!

I have already contacted wefixprecix.com just in case the owners of the machine upgrades it. But the owners decided not to upgrade it, instead make it work
and outsource or fix problem parts. Its very difficult to find this SMC-10 controller
since the machines were bought way back 1996.
I have read some of the posts here and some are upgrading. So I think if someone
might have replaced the SMC-10 controller board with an upgraded replacement version. Maybe we can purchase that SMC-10 controller board.
