VMC 15 z axis servo removal

I'm looking at purchasing a (1994) VMC 15, but I need to remove the z axis servo motor and spindle motor wire loom, to fit it threw my garage door opening. Just wondering if there is anything that I need to watch out for when removing and then reinstalling? Will the z axis need to be retuned or tweaked after reinstall?

    Any help would be great
    Thanks

Make the coupleron the Z motor before removing so that the cold start poistion will not be lost. As far as the Pendflex, just be gentle and careful so you do not damage the internal contents.

    Neal meant "mark the coupler".

Also - dont forget to lower the spindle onto a block of wood.
It will freefall once the motor is removed.
