    8050 - 8055 file shareing conflictions.

i am working with 2 fagor cnc centre lathes. 8050 and a newer 8055 controler. it seams as thought the m code functions are arse about. one controler uses m00 m05 to stop the spindle and then pause the program. the other controller uses m05 m00 to stop and pause. is there a way to set the m functions. in the paramater settings maybe?

    Beno,

The exact details of what each M-code does is actually set by the Builder/Integrator of the machine and is located within the PLC program.

I could walk you through it if I had the PLC program in front of me, but in reality, the best thing to do is contact your Machine Builder.... they should have the seperate PLC programs and can easily tell you how to set the one that you want changed..... takes no more than a minute or two.

    good luck !
    Todd
