    DRO doesn't equal Movement

I just installed a new BOB and G203Vs on my BP. When I move the table or quill in any direction the DRO reads more than the actual movement. I've made sure that I am in inches. My steps are the same as before I made the conversion (1000 steps). I'm pretty much at a loss as to what to look at next. Thanks, Ron

Is the actual movement correct? If not, you're steps per unit is wrong.

I didn't realize G203Vs are 10x micro stepping, also I have my motors wired half step. I haven't measured the movement yet, but I think I'm close.

Definitely make sure that you microstepping is factored in correctly to you calculation. I had the same problem. I use a Gecko G540. Multiply TPI*(microsteps per step)*(steps per revolution)*(revolutions per inch)= steps per inch. In most cases, the steps per revolution is 200. For my machine, my total steps per inch is set at 4000. (10 TPI)*(10)*(200)*(2)=4000. You probably already used this formula, but in case you didn't, there it is.
