    i hate when this happens

    why does this happen??????
    i just want to offset the outer shape in .950" and i get this! plus it locks up the page....

    It's something computer related I get this very often on my desktop machine but not on the laptop which is a new machine.
    The desktop used to be OK but it's getting to the point where it needs a fresh reinstall.
