    Suitable router for CNC machine

    Hi all,
Someone may beable to help. I am looking for a suitable router for my CNC machines. What I need is one with variable speed and can purchase both 6.35mm and 6mm collets. At present I'm using Makita trimmers but these are fixed speed.
I have looked at Kress ones but these are to expensive to import. I don't want one with handles like traditional type routers. I looked at the Hitachi M12VC but can not find any 6mm collets for them.

Does anyone know of a suitable router/trimmer(variable speed) I could use???

    Regards

    Hello

The WORK or WORX brand or whatever brand it is they have at mitre 10 are a good unit have a good reputation in the UK hardly anyone here uses them not to sure on collet size.
They are a variable speed via a control on the handle for them at $199 they are a good deal just a suggestion there are heaps of others out there to that are variable speed drive

    Thanks Nick

I guess you are just after a spindle. Try Isel Automation http://www.isel.com If they don't have an agent in NZ, Applied Automation in Melbourne sell them +613 9454 5011.
