    Thermal Dynamics Plasma Cutter Cut Master 82

    Is Thermal Dynamics plasma cutter 82 ok to use on a cnc table or should I use the Hypertherm Power Max 1000? Hypertherm comes with a cnc connection and I think the Thermal Dynamics charges extra for a pcb. Wonder what the extra pcb cost. Which one is best to use.

    What material and thicknesses are you looking to cut? Is it occasional use or high duty cycle/high production? What is more important to you.....purchase price or operating cost? What kind of cnc table, what type of torch height control?

    Both systems will work on a cnc, but they have different cutting characteristics, power levels....so a little more info on what you will use these systems for will help!

    It is on a 4'x4' table and of course I would like max cut. But looking for quality of cut too. I don’t have a high control I will have to get one.
