    Hello friends
how many millivolts of Ac ripples allowed in the Fadal power supply at 5v and 12v !?
    i have 220mv ac ripples in 5v and +12v
    and 15mv in -12vdc

Re: Dc Power supply AC ripple

Typical for most industrial electronics is less than 2 volts ac peak to peak and while I personally think that's high, that's what I have in my control documents.
Something more fitting is that most new DC power supplies really should be below 120mv P2P. As the caps age the ripples start to increase.

FWIW, my Fadal is using a PC power supply.
