    Sram lost. Please help

Hi guys. I'm new to this forum. I have an ecoca mt412/750 lathe with a fanuc 0i-tb controller on it. I was wondering if there is anyone out there that might have any type of sram backup for this machine. I do not have a backup. And I really wish I did. Thanks in advance! Jeff

I have a parameter manual for this machine. It has from 0 to 19990 parameters on it. Is this all I need? And just put it in by hand? Or is the sram different then these parameters?

Hi Jeff! It’s definitely crucial to have a backup, especially for machines like your Ecoca MT412/750 with a Fanuc 0i-TB controller. While I can’t provide a specific SRAM backup file, I recommend reaching out to Ecoca or Fanuc directly for a backup or system restore guide.

Hey bravernoe. Yes I have definitely learned my lesson on not having a backup for this. Apparently Ecoca does not have the sram backup. And fanuc is saying that they don't have access to it either. The people who sold my machine are looking for another machine that is the same make and model and controller so we can try to get their sram backup. No luck thus far though.

I will explain again for people who do not know :
FROM contains Fanuc system files ,PMC file(ladder file) and some user files--these files are not lost during batery loss
SRAM file is an archive and contains the following:-CNC PARA,PMC PARAM)timers, counters, keeprelays, data table),PROGRAMS,MACRO,TOOL OFFSET,WORK OFFSET and are lost if the batery of the CNC get empty

In conclusion having an SRAM back up it is easiest and faster to recover as contains all files that were lost
To recover is mandatory to have the CNC PARA and PMC PARAM to put the machine back on track
That is why if you have the papaers with these parameters ,takes some hours to enter but you can recover
    Good luck
