Question Starting CNC before turning control on

I have a 38 year old Accu-Router (PowerMatic) Series I with GNO control.
Has worked to 85% perfection all these years with occasional remodeling.
    Two questions.
#1 I am getting an 087 alarm when trying to load a 4k GCode file. Am able to load/transmit via USB from Mac M1 mini if I make the file smaller, no 087 alarm. I think the control will support Baud 9600 which my computer is set at. Should I lower both to 4800 Baud? I am guessing the 9600 Baud from Computer is over running the control. Control has a limit of 32K. Can I increase that without physically changing the memory module in control?

#2 Turning control on: When I start router motors I get 007 alarm on control.
Some years ago a tech at Accurouter gave me a way to start the motors before turning the control on. Anyone help me with that?

Thank you so much for any help. At a later date I may be allowed to tell you why I need to run this machine NOW.

The Baud rate at CNC controller side should be fixed, can not be changed.

I found the way to do this if anyone else needs same.
With control turned off place emergency stop button out, hold "CYCLE START" button while starting motors. Remembered myself while viewing control one day.
