    UI skins

    How are bitmap skins implemented?

I've seen a few posts with wood grain, gears or printed circuit boards...but no mention of this on the forum/stickies, website tutorials or the manual.

    Please help.

    Re: UI skins

From what I’ve seen, bitmap skins are made by creating images, like wood grain or circuit boards, in a graphic editor and then applying them to the UI elements.

The process can be different depending on the software you’re using, so it might take some trial and error to get it just right.
If you enjoy customizing and trying out new skins, you might want to check out https://skin.land/ . It’s a place to find and trade skins, which can really make your setup feel more unique.
