Using Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick

I am trying to use the joystick for better control over the Logitech gamepad that was previously being used and add feedback to the teach mode. So far the operation seems erratic and even crashes the Kmotion software. Sometimes it is just an error message, read failed auto disconnect, other times it actually dumps the whole program.
Are there parameters that I need to address or drivers I need to load?

    Hi GORDYK,

What software are you running and what are you doing?

As far as I know Force Feedback Joysticks are not supported. That is something I thought might be useful when teaching a Spinner Profile years ago but no one else had any interest.

Interesting, as you recommended this particular joystick in an earlier post.

It does seem to attempt to work but with issues. I'll have to check the version of Kmotion, but OS is Win 10
