Hello All,
My first post here, but at least in the correct forum I think ;-)
I want to reuse some old stepping motors. They mention on the specs plate : 1.7 Volt & 4.7 Amps

So when looking to (for example) these drivers :

TB6600 0.5-3.5A DC9-40V
DM542 1.0-4.2A DC24-50V (typical 36V)
DM556 1.0-5.6A DC18-48V (typical 36V)
DM860 2.4-7.2A DC24-80V (typical 36V)

I would expect I need DM556 or DM860 ( maybe DM542 ? )

But do I need to take into account the mentioned voltage on the motors ( 1.7 V ) ?
As all these drivers run much higher voltages ( at least 18 Volt )

What is the 1.7 V on the motor standing for ?

Thanks for all replies !
