    what is this thread for in the bt-30 power head?

    I bought bt-30 power head

    Can anyone tell me what the thread in the photo?

    the thread is a pipe thread, not a machine thread. The only thing I could find that will screw into is a pipe nipple.

    I will appreciate any hint
