Why are my tool offsets negative Robodrill 14iA 16i control

    Hi,

Trying to learn how to offset my tools. But would like to have positive offsets. I do not understand how to get them positive.
Also seems like my y-axis moves slightly during tool change.
See video of me trying to offset my tools.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Mathias

Re: Why are my tool offsets negative Robodrill 14iA 16i control

Hi, think I solved this one.
I moved the spindle nose to the touch off part and once in position I pressed "POS" button and REL, to see the relative numbers. Then I, pressed "origo" to get zero readings on all relative XY and Z.
I then did a M6 T(any tool) and jogged the tooltip down to the touch-off part and went into my "tool offsets" and entered Z and input-c.
