WS55-180 is blinking red in groups of 7

I have just tried to test my diy CNC engraver. No luck.
Its WS55-180 has a steady green LED and a red LED blinking in what appears to be groups of 7.
Supply voltage is 48.1v, and motor coils are all 4 ohms.

The gap after the 7th blink appears to be a bit longer, but could be my imagination.
Does a list of error codes exist, and if so, where?

    Thanks

Hai I starting with a WS55-180 driver and a adjustable power supply. In most cases the driver is flasing the red light. Sometimes the spidel is starting. But
when I stop the motor using the pot meter the motor is not starting again. When I switch off the power and wait 1/2 hour it is some times working again.
I have checked the wiring and the voltage level but all is ok.

When I stop the spindel using the pot the red let is starting blinking and when I try to restart the spindel it is not working
It seems that the driver is not starting and the red les is blinking continuously

The WS55-180 was defect. A replacement solved the problem.
