The new CNC control from HEIDENHAIN, the TNC7, puts new capabilities in the hands of machine tool users and manufacturers. Its many intelligent functions create an intuitive, task-focused and customizable user experience that takes shopfloor programming to a new dimension. The control’s powerful functions include the Model Aided Setup option, which enables graphically supported 6D workpiece setup, and Dynamic Collision Monitoring, which protects tools, workholding and machine components from damage.
Optimized optics give the next generation of RCN angle encoders clear vision, even through condensation and other liquid contamination. In many applications, this technology makes the encoder reliable without sealing air, allowing you to streamline your compressed air system and significantly reduce overall system costs. It also lowers the encoder’s carbon footprint by up to 99%.
The TD 110 inspects tools with diameters as small as 0.4 mm and detects breakage-induced length changes of 2 mm or more. This inductive, non-contact sensor inspects tools as they rotate at operating speed inside the work envelope. Saving up to six seconds per tool change, it delivers significant time and cost benefits. The compact and robust TD 110 can be installed next to the worktable of nearly any machine tool. Signals are sent to the control via the touch probe interface. In response, the control can trigger an NC stop, error message or user-defined reaction, thereby securing your process.
