Description
Cutting edge grinding of circular knives using beam grinding
The two-axis CNC grinding machine from the RMS series achieves cutting edge grinding on circular knives. The processing cell is equipped with a rotary table grinding machine from the RMS series and a robot with grinding spindle. The workpiece is machined with a cup wheel with a diameter of 450 mm. The maximum cutting speed is 45 m/s.
  • User-friendly, direct programming by indicating the technical data/parameters of the workpieces
  • CNC controlled adjustment of the angle range 0°–30° with hydraulic clamping
  • Workpiece diameter up to 1,000 mm
  • Automatic compensation of the grinding wheel
  • Clamping of workpieces by permanent magnet, electromagnet, mechanical or pneumatic devices
  • Rrotation speed of the workpieces adjustable 100–240 rpm
  • Grinding wheel diameter 400 mm
