Surface, bevel and radius grinding of complex geometries
The CNC-controlled flat bevel grinding machine from the BG series uses a cup wheel to achieve surface, bevel and/or radius grinding on machine knives, hand tools and related workpieces. Depending on the size of the workpiece, the machines can be equipped with grinding wheels of different diameters with a grinding length of 150–640 mm depending on the model. The grinding machine is equipped with four contouring axes and one tool axis as standard. It works at a cutting speed of up to 50 m/min.

• Digital axis drives on preloaded ball screw spindle Y and Z-axis or precision reduction gearbox A-axis, digital axis drive linear motor for X-axis
• Measuring control with measuring probe integrated into CNC control, digital display of grinding wheel wear, determination of remaining grinding wheel service life
• Grinding table in 30° slider bed design, roller rail guide with direct position measuring system
