The laser power source (resonator) of the HDFL series is an YAG or all-solid-state fiber laser without the need of any laser gas.
The fiber laser light is brought to the cutting head by a flexible glass fiber cable requiring no mirrors.
This technology reduces the amount of maintenance to a minimum and offers the lowest possible running cost with a wall-plug efficiency of 30 %.
This fiber laser will cut faster at lower operational cost than any CO2 laser at the same power.
It makes the machine very economical, fast and easy to handle.
