The software licences are divided into four levels and are dependent on the number of networked units. Different OPC client programs process the available OPC data enabling a wide variety of user scenarios. Using the VSE diagnostic electronics it is possible to export and describe previously configured vibration characteristics and monitoring parameters such as switch points, trigger and speed signals. For the code reader the OPC server software also offers standardised access to decoded reading results and various parameters.

- Quick set-up of sensors - User-friendly setting of parameters - Intuitive, user-friendly handling Operating and parameter setting software is used to set up and configure IO-Link sensors, vision sensors, cameras and diagnostic electronics for vibration monitoring. The function of a sensor can be monitored in the "Monitor" mode. This facilitates set-up and parameter setting considerably. Process values, images, current parameter settings and reading results can be graphically visualised. A "Service" mode is often offered for diagnosis. The service report allows the user to view reports, save the history of parameter sets, measured data and recordings, make statistical evaluations and display the last sensor images of good or bad readings.

The SmartObserver is a software for online visualisation of measurement values enabling condition monitoring of machines and installations or energy consumption analysis. The software displays measurement values and time series in table form or graphically with signal limits. An alarm escalation strategy can be set up for preventive maintenance tasks. The cockpit indicator provides a convenient overview of all data. For example, current process values can be displayed as speedometer, bar graph or trend. Correlation analysis of several process values is also possible. The SmartObserver can be implemented in a web server or installed in a machine. The software helps to achieve energy savings, improves the organisation of preventive maintenance and service actions and thus reduces costs in the entire manufacturing process.
