Optimizer Plus

Ionbond introduces Optimizer Plus - the latest Premium coating of the Ionbond Plus family. At the top of our product line, and in addition to Crosscut Plus, this new AlCrN based coating is the optimal coating for wet and dry machining at medium to high speeds for milling, hobbing and bevel gear cutting operations with temperatures reaching up to 1080°C. The Ionbond engineered coating design makes it suitable for the widest range of materials from low to high tensile steels, cast irons, tool steels, stainless steels, titanium and nickel alloys. Optimizer Plus is the fruit of years of experiments in our laboratories and field tests at our customers facilities. Our Cutting Tool Competence Center has defined the best deposition conditions to achieve exceptional abrasion resistance and to ensure optimal adhesion on both HSS and carbide substrates. The fine tuning of the deposition parameters gives to Optimizer Plus high nano hardness combined with an excellent temperature resistance and superior toughness.
