HCXtreme®, HCS®, GiHCS®, and PYROCOAT® are examples of OFS fibers that are used in a wide variety of applications worldwide.  HCXtreme® fibers enable high performance applications in urology with high laser power delivery under tight bending. Multicore fibers with continuous gratings are used in cardiology to precisely determine position and shape. OFS offers polarization-maintaining as well as Erbium-, Ytterbium- and Thulium-doped active fibers. OFS "Cavities" and "Beamcombiners" for fiber lasers enable the design of systems with very high laser power. Raman modules, VLMA modules as well as active and passive fibers are further components for fiber laser systems. Raman fiber laser technology enables new operating wavelengths for laser therapy.
